The goodyear inverted welt sewing machine or Norwegian goodyear type model DUER 540HT can be used for a single thread "chain". This stitching is evident only on the inside part of the insole. The wax pot heater and the hot air puff heating on thread allows seams to be sewn with warm waxed thread. The machine can be equipped with medium and large radius needles.
